I am cooking with a stainless steel frying pan how do I stop eggs sticking to the pan?

I used margarine to fry the eggs. It left my wife with a hard to get off mess in the pan.I am cooking with a stainless steel frying pan how do I stop eggs sticking to the pan?
Step 1.) Use non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2.) Buy a coated non-stick pan.

Step 3.) Ignore step 2 and you clean the pan.I am cooking with a stainless steel frying pan how do I stop eggs sticking to the pan?
PAM SPRAY
use Pam
Tons of butter and not to high of temperature!

Oh and clean your own pan, Man!!
spray Pam on the pan and on the spatula
i dont know either brother, every time i try to make omelettes in a non-teflon frying pan, i end up having to scrape it off with a butter knife in the sink.
You might be able to try cooking it on a lower heat. It'll take longer to cook, but it should prevent sticking.

I don't know that for sure, but it seems logical enough
try butter!!! or invest in a better pan
Try PAM non stick spray
Lifes too short- get a teflon pan!
make sure the pan is good and hot before adding anything at all to it...

then add your butter, margarine or oil, allow to get hot and then add eggs

as for her mess... she can add some baking soda to the pan and some water... boil on stove top until it all is easily removed

susan
Original PAM, not the one for bakers, that has flour in it and the butter flavored one burns faster, it seems.
i use a spray on oil like pam
DON'T use margarine. real butter!!
get some non stick spray!!!That stuff is a miracle worker!
Pam or vegetable shortening work well :)
use a spray or some kinda of oil
Try to season the pan first next time you try to cook with it. By the way, why must your wife clean the pan? why not you?
Use pam nonstick spray, but also use the butter becasue pam makes eggs taste funny when used alone.
I was trying to cook eggs with stainless steel pans also and it always made a big mess. I finally gave up and bought my self a non stick frying pen.
Use lower heat setting and some oil. Let the oil heat first then put in the eggs.
Lower your heat. your egg cooks just as fast and let your pan heat up a bit before cooking. The benefits of stainless steel vs aluminum is so much healthier
try evoo (extra virgin olive oil) or good old Pam non stick cookin spray
Try using vegetable oil; but really a non-stick frying pan is best for eggs. Also why did you leave it for your wife to clean? You made the mess, so you should clean it.
you should get a non stick skillet for eggs ...works much better ...the stainless steel has to be seasoned some how ...rubbing it with a paper towel and cooking oil really good...use that non stick spray also ...it helps some ...good luck
Put a little margarine in the pan.
my mom taught me to ....its called seasoning the pan. wut u have to do is put a lil vegetable oil in the pan and rub it with a paper towel and put it on low heat for maybe a few minutes its to soak the oil in all the pores of the pan. its so the pan wont make food stick. it does work but when cooking also use a lil buttter margarine oil spray oil wutever u have like that.
Try using a non-stick cooking spray (like PAM) along with the margarine. Also, try turning the heat down on the burner; it may take longer to fry the eggs, but they'll be less likely to stick.
Go out get a non-stick frying pan just a small one and use it just for eggs.

Alternatively the dutch and belgian approach. Wait till the eggs are nearly done take off the heat and put to the side whilst you sort other stuff out coffee etc. The fat cools and becomes more grease like allowing you to slide it off easier still may stick a bit.

You can use vegetable oil too this burns less than margarine.

I would go and get the little frying pan tho save you a lot of trouble and if you use it just eggs it will last years.
yes pam will stop the mess, but will make you eggs taste like crap
either use Pam or put a bit of oil on the pan before you start cooking it
